Longines Flagship Heritage Moon Phase
Yep, we know we don’t feature so many formal, classic watches. Blame Robin here: he is such a sports watch guy. Show him a sports watch and he goes bonkers. But a couple of days ago, we ran into the new release by the Swiss luxury brand, Longines. The new line, Flagship Heritage, comes in three variations with its design inspired by the brand’s models from the 50s. It integrates a sub-dial with both date and moon-phase complications which are reminiscent of the aesthetic elements of brands in a way higher price range. Considering its price of €3000, a case size of 38.5mm, which will fit perfectly on most wrists, and a power reserve of 72 hours, it’s really a great-looking dress watch.
Tudor Pelagos FXD Alinghi Red Bull Racing Edition
Tudor is killing it recently. Just think of all the novelties released earlier this year (we featured one here) and this latest release proves it again. Last week Tudor introduced two new Pelagos FXD models for Alinghi Red Bull Racing, an America’s Cup yacht racing team which teamed up with the Swiss watchmaker in 2022. It’s the first time that the brand has used a new carbon composite material for a case and we have to say that this matte black version combined with the matte blue dial looks really great. They come in a case diameter of 42mm and a chronograph of 43mm.
Oris Divers Sixty-Five Cotton Candy
When Oris came up with bronze watches with ‘cotton-candy’ colour dials two years ago, it was love at first sight for many. There isn’t a better summer watch than one with a dial which really pops. It’s also such a great accessory piece which works perfectly as a final finishing touch to your outfit (so you don’t need to overdo it with all-over-summer prints on a shirt). But watches in bronze might not be for everyone. Luckily, the Swiss watchmaker listened again to their fans and now comes with a steel version of the originals. It has the same 38mm case size (which means it fits most wrists), with a power reserve of 41 hours, and you can go crazy and dive up to 100 meters. Honestly, we can’t decide which of these colour options we love the most.
