Life, death, and whatever may fall in between, Undone is a mix of sci-fi fantasy and a dark comedy-drama about mental illness. It’s funny, but at the same time bold and clever. Curb Your Enthusiasm
This series might be known to many of you already, as it has been here for over two decades with 11 seasons. Now, it comes with the final season, starring Larry David, the co-creator of 90s’ Seinfeld (a series, which set the standard for many sitcoms). And it’s once again about Larry being Larry, a funny character who when he is placed into the day-to-day situations that happen around him, starts to question everything. With plenty of cringe-worthy scenes, where you’ll be constantly telling yourself “I would love to say that…”, Larry literally does what everyone else wants to do, but can’t. It’s “pretty, pretty good”… Streaming on HBO Max
The Vince Staples Show
If you miss series such as Dave or Atlanta, this might do the trick. Rap fans might be familiar with Vince Staples, who plays himself in a series based in his hometown of Long Beach, California, where everyone seems to know who he is and wants something out of it. It has similar themes and the same surrealism that we loved in Atlanta, but it’s more live-action Adult Swim series, which perfectly suits Staples’ charisma. The show is real but still funny and carries culture as it is shown on the big screen. It also portrays an accurate look into the life of a lower-income rapper. Streaming on Netflix
Constellation
Constellation is a show that plays with the mind and delves into the edges of reality and the unknown, touching a topic which is not well understood by science. But if you usually expect a lot of action and effects from sci-fi, this might not be for you. This series is different with lots of mind-blowing twists, where the excellent performance of Noomi Rapace takes you on her confusing journey. From the beginning, certain scenes here are deliberately presented to unveil connections, so you might end up rewatching them with new perspectives. Streaming on Apple TV+
