Do you know that Backgammon is thought to be the world’s oldest game? All those generations can’t be wrong – it’s strategic, low-tech and very stylish. This portable set in leather and suede isn’t the cheapest but it will raise admiring glances at your local cafe and if it’s too expensive, you can always google better-priced versions. Skateroom – Jean-Michel Basquiat
We might be a bit too old to skate now and a lot too poor to own a genuine Basquiat but this wall artwork made from boards could make you forget all that and make a nice addition to someone’s interior at the same time. Get it here.
James Bond. Dr. No Book
We are BIG Bond fans (Graham’s second name is Sean after Sean Connery so it was pre-destined) so would love this hefty volume on our coffee table. Beautifully illustrated, the book details the making of the first film, Dr No and is the perfect thing to flick through as you drink a martini. Available here.
Louisiana membership
One of the world’s best – and most beautiful – modern art museums, Louisiana warrants many visits a year if you live in the Nordics and so a membership would be an extra incentive to get yourself there more often. Loewe is undoubtedly one of the very hottest labels on earth at the moment but the clothes can be a little uncompromising for a lot of people so why not buy into the brand’s gorgeous aesthetic with this alpaca blend blanket to casually throw over a sofa or bed?
