Hopefully, you have spent the summer in sandals and flip flops or – even better – with bare feet in the sand (the best natural exfoliant there is). But now it’s time for boots and shoes, and it’s easy to forget your soles and toes until next spring when the damage is done. To avoid starting your 2026 vacations with feet like a hobbit, give yourself a once-in-a-while treat with some of these creams over the winter. For best results, apply in the evening just before you go to bed and leave it on overnight to give it time to sink in (and to avoid slipping on tiles like Bambi on ice…).

Amazing Space Luxury Lavender Balm

Another great product from one of our local Copenhagen favourites, this (like many others) works on both feet and hands. It’s not too heavy or sticky to apply, it smells lovely too and has a pretty immediate softening effect. You can get it here.
Bodyologist Soft Sole Exfoliating and Softening Cream

This cream contains glycolic acid and urea (don’t ask), which have exfoliating properties that penetrate hard skin and reduces callouses. At the same time, it works as a moisturiser, so it keeps the rest of your feet silky and smooth. The fragrance is menthol, so there is a pleasant cooling sensation too. You can get it here.
Bioderma Atoderm Intensive Baume

This is actually an all-round body and face cream that gives a full blast of ultra-soothing moisturiser wherever it is needed, but it works particularly well on your feet. It stimulates the synthesis of lipids and proteins and also reduces itching and irritation (good for post-flip-flop blisters).
L:A Bruket Foot Cream

An absolute personal favourite, this delicious cream is a real treat for your feet. It’s silky and smooth to apply and smells of peppermint and patchouli, which is the perfect antidote to a day in sweaty socks. You can get it here.
Dr. Hauschka Hydrating Foot Cream

This is a great priced but effective cream packed full of plant extracts and botanical oils. It’s particularly good for very dry or cracked skin and is light enough to be used on a daily basis.
