Champagne is usually the tipple of choice for the fashion crowd but it seems Kim Jones prefers something a little stronger. Somehow finding time between designing collections for Fendi and Dior Homme, he’s been working with top flight cognac producer Hennessy to create an uber-luxurious carafe.

“I WANTED IT TO FEEL LIKE YOU’RE ALMOST LOOKING INTO THE BOTTLE. IT’S A GLASS OF COGNAC IN SNEAKER FORM.”
Kim Jones
Available in two different versions, the “haute couture” decanter is a specially 3D printed and hand finished golden-hued swirl from which the drink is extracted by a special pipette.

It does look a little like a Ferrero Rocher to us but with a rumoured €28000 price tag, it’s not on everyone’s wish list. Instead you can go for the ‘ready to wear’ version in aluminium that is more ‘unwrapped’ and retails around 300 euros.
If, like me, you don’t even like brandy, then you can opt out of alcohol totally and buy the limited edition Hennessy XO x Kim Jones suede sneakers in a really rather delicious shade of cognac brown.
